It started with Chris. Then Joey, who knew JC, who knew Justin, whose vocal coach also happened to teach Lance.

That's how they formed. Lou Pearlman sent them to Europe and they became a huge success. About two years later he sent them back to America. They were a hit there, too.

After a bunch of legal issues, they broke away from Lou and went to Jive Records. Their fame rose even more. Pretty soon, they were the biggest band in the world (according to Rolling Stone).

They had it made.

Britney Spears was on The Mickey Mouse Club, a popular early 90's TV show, with Justin and JC. Britney was Justin's age. They'd been friends since they were kids.

Justin asked her out, just on a casual date, as friends. Maybe they'd turn into something more, maybe not. He'd be happy either way, truthfully. They went out to dinner and had a great time. She was beautiful. Fun. Sweet. He really liked her.

He drove her home after dinner. He wasn't planning on doing anything but dropping her off. But he walked her to her doorstep and the attraction was just too intense.

He kissed her. She kissed him. Maybe it was a little of both. Neither would really remember who initiated it.

He stayed the night.

Wade Robson started out as Britney's choreographer. Britney knew Justin, Justin was in *NSYNC, *NSYNC danced, and that's how Wade came to work for them.

Wade was good. Born in Australia, he was almost two years Justin's junior (one year, seven months, and seventeen days, as Justin would later calculate), but he was good.

Age didn't really matter when it came to Wade. He was professional. And he was the best at what he did. The guys of *NSYNC came to really respect and like Wade.

Especially Justin.

The two of them clicked right off. They wrote songs together, they hung out, they became instant best friends, almost inseparable.

Justin was the best dancer in the group.

Justin used to like it when he kissed Britney.

He started not liking it so much as time went by. And he wasn't sure why. He thought maybe he wasn't as attracted to her anymore, but he knew that wasn't it. She was gorgeous, anyone could see that.

He started spending more time with Wade. He really, really liked Wade. Enjoyed Wade's company. Had a lot in common with Wade.

It didn't really occur to Justin until he was once again trying to get into kissing Britney, that he would rather be kissing someone else. Someone named Wade.

Justin was gay.

It was different, kissing Wade, then it was kissing Britney.

They weren't on some porch under the moonlight. They were in the middle of a dance studio during a dance break.

But that kiss was more intense then any that Justin had ever experienced before.

They'd just been standing there, talking, and then Justin had looked at Wade. Or maybe Wade had looked at Justin. Who really keeps track of that stuff, anyway? And pretty soon their arms were around each other and their lips were pressed together like there was no tomorrow.

Justin really liked kissing Wade.

6. my name is justin timberlake and today i broke up with my girlfriend

She yelled. She threw things. He just stood there and let her get it all out.

And then she cried.

And he felt bad, because he did love her. Just not in the way that she need to be loved. Wanted to be loved.

And Justin wanted to be with Wade. More than he wanted to be with Britney. He wasn't even sure if he loved either of them, but he knew what he wanted.

And it wasn't Britney.

Not anymore.

7. my name is justin timberlake and tonight i slept with a dream

Wade was different then Britney.

Her skin was smooth, while his hand a roughness to it. His hands weren't small, but strong and sturdy. His body was more muscled.

Wade had incredible brown eyes.

And a beautiful smile. With lips that were so soft. Felt so good on his skin.

Wade was different.

He was better.

8. my name is justin timberlake and today...

They were sitting together, just enjoying each other's company.

Wade had just said something that made Justin smile and blush in that way of his that Wade absolutely adored.

Giving Justin a soft smile, Wade leaned in and kissed him gently. Justin returned it, wrapping an arm around Wade.

Wade kissed Justin for another moment before standing up, extending a hand to Justin, nodding to the stairway that lead up to their room with a smile.

Justin returned the smiled and took Wade's hand.

And he knew that was where he wanted to be.
