Married to Your Music

I used to get so mad at you whenever you said
you were married to your music. I mean, you could've at least said
you were dating someone. Given the reporter a secret smile.
Anything. I always felt like you saying you were married to your
music was denying us somehow.
If
they ever even asked me if I was dating anyone, I would say yes and
then I wouldn't say anything more. And of course they're going to
ask you, you're JC. You're probably more loved by everyone than
Justin. I know you are by me.
So why
do you say you're married to your music? That's what I always asked
myself.
Then
one day I found a note taped to the door of my anonymous hotel room.
I can still remember what it read; I memorized it in my heart.

I just
wanted to thank you. Thank you for waking up every day with a smile
on your face and automatically bringing one to mine. Thank you for
holding my hand when I need it, and sometimes even when I don't.
Thank you for loving me in every kind of way, all of which are ways
I need to be loved. Thank you for inspiring me to do what I do, and
be who I am. Thank you for just being you, because you are
where I get all my best ideas from. Thank you for being my music.
