Tell Me A Story by Annie
The sounds of coughing and
sneezing, followed by loud sniffling drew Justin's attention away
from the book he was currently reading. Looking up at the doorway,
Justin saw Wade standing there, eyes slightly red, rubbing at his
nose.
"Justin, I think I'm
sick," Wade said, his words having a 'b' ending sound to them
because of his stuffed up nose.
"Poor baby," Justin said, setting his book aside
and motioning for Wade to come sit in his lap. Wade walked over and
sat down, and Justin settled back into the large, overstuffed
chair.
"What can I do to make you feel better?" Justin asked,
smoothing down Wade's unruly hair.
Wade sniffled and said, "I
don't know."
"You want me to make you some soup or
something?"
Wade shook his head. "I'm not
hungry."
Justin thought for a moment. "We could put a movie
in and snuggle on the couch."
"Tell me story," Wade told
him.
"What kind of story?" Justin asked.
"A good
one," Wade said.
Justin laughed. "A good one, huh? Well, lets
see... okay. Well... once there was this kid, and his name was
Justin. And Justin was really famous and he was in a boyband and
everyone loved him and he was the best."
"Justin sounds
pretty cocky if you ask me," Wade commented.
"Oh you hush.
Now, anyway, Justin was great. Really cool guy, this Justin was. And
one day, he met someone named Wade. Wade was almost two years
younger than Justin, but he was really talented, even more talented
than Justin. And he had pink hair."
"This Wade guy sounds
pretty cool."
Justin laughed. "Anyway, Justin and Wade became
instant friends, and they did everything together. And Justin
developed a little crush on Wade, but didn't think that Wade would
ever like him back. So he didn't say anything about his
feelings."
"Justin was stupid," Wade muttered.
"And
unknown to Justin, Wade had a little crush on him
too."
"Fine, fine, you made your point," Wade said,
grumbling, and Justin laughed, kissing his forehead.
"So Wade
and Justin liked each other but didn't do anything about it for a
while, and it was killing them both. One day, however, Wade was
showing Justin some new dance moves and they got especially close to
each other. Justin looked up at Wade, and Wade looked at Justin, and
then they kissed."
"It's about time!" Wade exclaimed, before
turning his head to cough. Justin rubbed his back soothingly, and
after a moment the coughing stopped.
"Try not to get so
excited, baby," Justin told
him. "Sorry. I was just overjoyed for
Justin and Wade. What happened next?"
"Well, they confessed
their feelings and decided to try out a relationship. And it worked
out really well for them. They went on dates and kissed and
eventually started... you know..."
Wade grinned. "Oh
yeah."
"And pretty soon they were in love with each other.
And once they realized this, and told each other, the relationship
was better than ever. They only fought occasionally-"
"And
Wade always won," Wade interjected.
"Ha. Right. Anyway, they
didn't have a lot of problems and were very much in love. They
really felt that they were with the right person. So, naturally,
they decided to get married."
Wade glanced down briefly at
the wedding ring on his left hand. "Good decision."
Justin
nodded. "Yes, it was. And their wedding was beautiful and everyone
cried, but Justin was strong and did not."
"You liar," Wade
said fondly.
Justin chuckled. "You're right. Justin cried
too. And then shoved cake in Wade's face at the reception and has a
really cute picture of it in his office, but anyway..."
Wade
smiled and shifted, getting more comfortable in Justin's
arms.
"So after their wedding Wade and Justin went on a
honeymoon and had lots of fun and lots of-"
"Sex?" Wade
asked.
"Well, I was going to say 'good times', but I think
sex falls under that category," Justin said with a slight
grin.
Wade laughed. "So... how does the story
end?"
"Well... it hasn't been finished yet. But... I think
the ending will be a definite happily ever after."
Wade
smiled. "Good story."
"Feeling a little better?" Justin
asked.
"Yes. Thank you. I love you."
Justin smiled. "I
love you too. So, what should we do now?"
Wade looked up at
him. "Didn't you say something earlier about a movie and
snuggling?"
